Can a business owner review their own business?

Short answer

No. Reviewing your own business is a conflict of interest and against Google's policies. So is having family, staff, or friends post reviews on your behalf.

What's prohibited

• The owner posting their own review.
• Directing employees, relatives, or friends to leave reviews.
• Any review from someone with a stake in the business rather than a genuine customer experience.

These get removed when detected and can undermine your whole profile's credibility. Build your rating the legitimate way — through real customers you've asked honestly.
